The ownership and operation of drinking water infrastructure on business premises are generally the responsibility of the owner of the premises. Evides is responsible up to the point of supply: the boundary between the connection and the installation. Evides does, however, inspect the installations on business premises for the potential risk of contaminated water flowing back into the supply network. For this purpose, business users are classified by risk from 1 to 5. The higher the risk class, the more frequent the inspections.
